Introducing: Mrs. HGTV

Okay, maybe not. But I sure felt like it as I completed this project this weekend:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

I had planned on spending up to $100 dollars to get new chairs (and it would've been difficult to find them that cheap!). Instead, I'll end up spending about $15 when it's all said and done. Anyone else a fan of money in da bank? I'm still keeping my eyes open for a bench to complete my table though... and of course- I'd love for it to be another DIY project.
I also thought I'd take a moment and say, "Welcome back, curls!"
Here's to hoping my daughter ends up with hair half as nice as her brothers... if she ever gets any. :) I've been saying Corban was way past due for a haircut, but with those little curls resurfacing... we'll see.
Okay- I've got two diapers to change, puppy chow to make, a park to visit, and friends to see. Time's up!

  3. Yummmm, more puppy chow. I think you have me hooked. Those chairs really do look fantastic, I was glad to see a clearer picture!

  4. Well, I'm still going to try to convince you to read Twilight. Once you start you won't want to put it down. So mysterious and exciting! it's clean too (no sex or anything) so don't worry. :)

I know what you mean about Corban talking a lot. Elijah is talking my ever-loving ear off! he just jabbers all day long... about everything... whatever he sees he wants to comment on. And don't even get him started on firetrucks or ambulances. Oh. My. Goodness. :)

What really cracks me up is when Manny and I are talking and we don't think hes listening he'll just repeat a word out of the blue. like the other day one of us said something like "you better watch it" and Elijah looked up from his playing across the room and said "Momma, watch it." and laughed at himself. He knows he's funny.
I think this stage is one of my favorites... but aren't they all? :)
